Planning to head to East Texas this weekend. Don't know if I should drag my boat. I am curious what the guides from Sam Rayburn think the fish will do during this cold snap. Should I go through the trouble of pulling the boat 300 miles? If so, what should I be doing to catch fish?
Thanks

Just fish slow and fish the funnel area's leading to spawning grounds. Medium diveing cranks in shad color black back are working good. Fish the mouths of pockets. Don't leave your carolina rig home. This won a tournament this last weekend on big Sam.
