Was the first time I have felt a fish fight at all. Now all I can think about is getting back out there and catching more!

Great advice from a guide^^ Makes me wanna book a trip..  It really is great advice. If you read through the thread, you can find some useful information, and POSSIBLY find the answer to your question!  Thank you Jimmy for inviting me out to the dam this morning. Biggest fish I've caught in my 2 weeks as a fisherman!!! Had a great time! Good job brother! Like Jimmy said, one more's come down with the fever! Enjoy you're newest addiction! There's no cure!

Got out with my buddy Kingfisher on Friday and then took my son out and met Kingisher again today. We were into them pretty good yesterday morning until they opened up the dam from about 2300 to 3300 CFS. We were catching some mags then the fish got alot smaller and then totally quit. I was a bit skeptical with that much water being released and how it affected the fish yesterday but we did ok again today. All fish were caught on spinners. They wouldn't hit any plastics and didn't want live shad either. Good job KungFuJimmy, Mr. Dang and UrbanFisherman. Congrats on your first white bass and biggest fish. Be careful though as it is very addictive.  You were in great company as KFJ and Mr. Dang are first class individuals and fisherman to match. They have much knowledge to share, take advantage of it! Welcome to the club! Friday  Saturday

Thanks Jimmy for letting me tagged along. Water current was flowing fast. They weren't biting much but managed to catch some with shad. Ended up with one 15" large mouth, one 13" crappie, and 4 sand bass. It was slow but beautiful day to be out there. Saw MrDang wading and fishing but don't know how he did. 
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..

Boat is still at shop  So i went to 78 and got 8 big ones. Released 4 small ones and lost three throwing the hook. Water flowing big and i couldn't get out past the construction fence there so lost a lot of lures. But if i could get it in the strike zone right before the fence BAM  they were nailing it. I was using an inline spinner from www.moestackleshop.com.

Nice reports! Fished up by the dam.. No Bueno for me! Couple small sandies, bass, nice size blue, lots of drum! All caught on gay blade lure! If you haven't tried these lures! You missing out
