AnyOne Ever fish that bayou in king wood that runs behind the ymca?

if so, how did you get down there? Did you park at the ymca and just walk down? I hope I don't sound stupid I just don't want my car towed in a place about an hour from my house haha.
Also, I hear it's a good spot if you're trying to catch tilapia, so I figured I'd do that on the side while I bass fish. Any good baits? Is there any way to catch without snagging? And if you're are snagging, what's the proper "method?"

Are you talking about Kingwood off 59 near the West Fork of the San Jacinto River.

I read Kingwood off of 59 as well but not sure if he means that or some other king wood.

I would suspect the only place you could park close would be in the Y's parking lot.

I used to park at the YMCA many years ago and launch a canoe there. I never had a problem, but that was a long time ago. caught a lot of bass there.

Does that bayou connect to main lake? Yes it does. Been wanting to try that spot myself.
