does anyone on here know about Kistler rods warranty, the reel seat wont hold and wanting input on whether or not to just trash it as no good! thanks

I believe the warranty info is posted on their website. My dad had a few Z-Bone's custom built and there were a few misunderstandings and Trey took care of him with no questions asked. He's a great guy and will take care of you for sure.

Reel seat issue, contact trey. He wants to know about issues like these. A buddy had an issue with a rod squeeking. TurNed out to be broke blank under the Reel seat and one day it just fell apart. Took it back and trey said he shoudlve brought it back as soon as it squeeked. Gave him a new ROF no questions asked.

I emailed them about a rod tip that cracked and would make a small bird nest of line at the tip. They called me the next day. I did not respond and they called again the next day. Ever heard of service like that !!!!! Sent a new tip . I broke a new rod and TW replaced it. However in the last two weeks I broke two more. So not feeling to good about buying 6 of them. I do like them. Sensitive and good rods. I need to call them again and see whats up. Both rods broke about 10" from the tip.

I have been using Kistler KLX and Z Bones for several years and have never had an issue with reel seats or breaking tips.

One of my favorite rods I had at one time was a 7'11 zbone x hvy jig rod. So light and sensitive. Wish I didn't sell it

I own at least 20 Kistler rods. The only one I ever broke was operator error. Customer service has even taken care of rod tips broken by reeling Carolina rig tight against eye.

Same here. I go to the shop all of the time, Trey and the staff are great people.
