Took a birthday trip Saturday afternoon with my wife and HTDUCK and his wife. Had to work for them but the ladies were willing to put in the effort. No toads, but very consistent equal sized slabs. Probably threw back half as many more that were 9.5". Mostly caught on jigs but the ladies were catching a few on minnows. It was a pretty crappie birthday!

I went out on Lavon on Saturday and didn't do well. I fished main lake and my slip in Collin and only had a couple keepers so I gave them away.
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together

Can't see the pics because of city computer blocks, but sounds like you had a great birthday! as for this Red Guns jigs,don't know who you are referring to,now lil pistol, makes a mean jig which I will be using on my next outing,lol! which jigs were you using?

You got enough crappie there you don't hafta eat catfish!!!  Good job old man!!! Hell that's more than CAT caught all together on that lake in Feb.
