Braved the wind from 9-10 am this morning. Boated around 30 fish w multiple double hookups on the fly and slab. About half of them were hybrids.

Good to hear about Lewisville. About how big were the hybrids? Still the 16 inchers?

Sounds like Lewisville is turning on. I wish Hubbard was.

Cactusflyer, Is there anywhere I could get to that would hold fish today with the wind? I'll be in a bass boat with my son who threw up last night so he is feeling better so we may just go fishing after lunch.
We launch from oakpoint. Any help would be appreciated

Ok we went out from Oak Point but was to windy for my little bass boat. We just went into some coves and played around. Lots of shad everywhere of coarse. Caught a few gizzards. Only went out for two hours or so. Maybe when the weather calms down I can get back out.

Sent you a pm....looks like it would have been to windy to go to this spot anyways, after reading the rest of the posts.

I've been catching hybrids up in Hickory Creek. I head upstream from Old Alton and hit all the pools between the ripples along the way. Yesterday they were packed in heavy near the railroad tracks. They've been between 12 and 24 inches. Had probably a dozen over 18 inches the past few weeks. Pulled this one out where the creek runs parallel to Hickory Creek road a few weeks back when I walked in.

I've been hitting them hard at the points on hidden cove. Pulled a few out with eggs and some males that were happy as well. LOL!.
