I wear my blue mirror 580 everyday, if it is overcast I switch to a green mirror. Blue is a gray base which is better for bright days(they will be your darkest) Green mirror are a Amber base which is a brighter lense for overcast days. Also green is better for inshore sight fishing. Most will tell you a Green Mirror for everyday use, if you have to chose just one lense color, then I would agree.

580 G with green mirror. I like the visibility of these in all conditions. They are good shallow, deep, low light, bright sunny afternoon, wherever. I like the glass cause I'm rough on lenses. Good luck!

I kind of disagree with the above about the Green mirror. I have both the green mirror and silver mirror. I think green is too dark for low light conditions. The silver mirror for me is better for cloudy and low light conditions. green are phenomenal when it's bright out. I do tend to find myself wearing my silver mirror more. They have an amber base as well.

All around wear, either Green Mirror or Silver Mirror 580. Both have copper lens. Harsh bright sun, Blue Mirror 580. It has a grey lens. Does Costa make the glass lenses with rx in them? Yes Follow link, your zip code, then click prescription dealers Costa Dealer Locator

I wear the blue mirror 580 when driving or on bright sunny days on the water; green mirror also is good when the sunlight is less harsh; but my favorite for lowlight and sight fishing is silver mirror 580...i can also see my sonar units better with the silver mirror. For early morning, late evening, or fog I have read that the color sunrise is good but I have no experience with that color....gets expensive.

I've been wearing Maui Jim with a gray lens and have trouble seeing my graphs. Does either work better in that aspect?
