Anyone fish the eastern part of Lewisville by kayak? I work in W. Plano so if I can find a good spot to fish by the eastern Lewisville Lake (around the Colony) I could go before work and get a couple of hours fishing in during the week. Any suggestions on where to put in?

Stewarts creek park is my go to for short notice fishing. I live about a mile from there

I checked that out today and saw you need to pay $10 to get into the park! That's rather steep! I wonder if I can park at the parking at the trailhead right outside the park?

try 121 pier, there should be visitor parking labeled. I haven't been in a while
otherwise there are parking fees and towing if you park in wrong spot
|

cottonwood park and Little Elm park are further north but no fees required

Little elm is an easy put-in, follow the park road to the NE side of the cove, kinda opposite of the beach.
never fished it.

I was there last Saturday fishing not too far from the Demo Day. I got into a mess of "sandies" and some LMB. Launched from Little Elm Park.
