today morning fishing at rc this young guy say good morning to me[ 17 inch and half]after pic let go him .anou- reddman - king fishing and me just caught under 10 fish for each one.we leave early before rain.the creek was slowing down time to go some where else good luck for every body!!!!

Some. The only fish I saw caught was a carp. After 1 1/2 hrs I was outta there. Anybody else have luck ?

for my experience this mo was the shad -cat fish and crappie spawning season. you can see them every where by bank at morning.sand bass was done spawn they might follow the rain back to lake. some will stay but not much. time to try some where else.

Really slow today. Water was clear. KFJ, my uncle, and I only manage to catch a couple keepers. Lots of small white bass that was caught and release. 10 mins before heading out this hybrid come out to go home with us. Seems like rowlett creek will end soon. Time to get ready and gear up for lake fishing!

when it comes to lake fishing. only thing i remember is Moon's tai chi style. people think i am joking, but i'll never forget what he showed me. sandies were huge too. never kept any as i was spoiled by denison dam fishing.. that one wasn't tai chi style.. just good old hard labor style..

Fishing was slow Sat morning. I had muddy water. I fished down by 66 bridge and noticed cars were coming and going, after hitting several spots, using several lures and colors, I found out why.. no fish. I left about the same time as others, they also blanked. Decided to head up to Firewheel and use the 4X4 truck in the mud. Finally found a few fish in the first pocket up the bridge, couldn't find them anywhere else. Ended up catching 12 small ones on tiny flukes dragged on the bottom. I have noticed the flood waters have moved around some underwater brush piles as I lost a lot of lures in new places.

Also saw about 20 snakes. All water snakes. They just kept swimming all over the creek. No snakes on land, happy about that.

Damn, when did RC turn into "As the Creek Churns" or "Guiding Bite"... Maybe even "The Young and the Fishless"... It's all about the almighty fish... First come, first serve. God Bless America!!
