Does anyone know what Lake Travis looks like(boat docks, coves).
I may be fishing evenings on Lake Travis soon.

This was last year crappie and whites.

Was there Saturday, the lake is about 34 ft low. Most of the
docks and Marinas are high and dry. Went to the boat ramp at
Hughes Park (South side of dam) the parking lot was full of
vehicles from all over the USA. Seems they where prefishing
for a tourment being held this coming weekend.

Fished at night the last two weekends, with no crappie found. Fished from Carlos and Charles to Point Venture. Found lighted boat docks with NO shad or minnows. THis is bad! Only caught a few black bass...This time, last year, we were catching alot of crappie and white bass. This last weekend, two of us found a school of whites in 30+ feet of water. Managed 46 keeper whites....But no crappie. I wonder if the very low lake level has these crappie stacked up under major marinas or very deep water??? This year was the first to catch some keeper striper. Striper love crappie...with very little shallow water, they have to be in deep water...We must of fished 5-6 lighted boat docks with minnows...I still have those minnows...Let me know if how you do...
