When nothing is working, what do you go to to get a few keepers? What do you look for on the lake when you get desperate?
For me it's usually 1.0 square bill, wacky worm or drop shot on docks at the mouth of creeks or any rip-rap/bride pylons I can find.

Chart/White Crappie crank bait on spinning tackle, 4" Texas rig worm (caught some big fish on this), wacky worm, small shaky head, and 1/4oz spinner bait.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

If you have a bag of senkos, you don't need an emergency box. If they don't bite the senko, they don't live there.

TX Rig- 7" power worm, 3/16th tungsten, 2/0 Trokar TK180, 12lb InvizX Wacky Rig- 4" GY Senko, 2/0 Trokar TK97W, 12lb InvisX Weightless 5" GY Senko or Zoom Super Fluke Jr., 3/0 Trokar TK110, 12lb InvisX
Fish high percentage area's, working the baits slowwwwly, but covering a lot of water
This is also a good time to go trophy hunting.. 8" Hud or Osprey swimbait on main lake points looking for one bite all day. You might get one you might not, but that's how your day was stacking up anyway.. If you do happen to get bit, there you go, you caught a TOAD (maybe even a PB) on a rough day.
Leave the Knobb at the dock for celebration or sorrow after your day of grinding.
I say we fish 5 days a week and work 2.

I get out a bottle of Crown, take a sip, then pour just a little over my worm, then take another sip, then cast. Repeat until I don't give a [censored] anymore. Works everytime!

I've been neglecting my emergency lures. There have been days recently when I should've switched to an 'emergency' lure but I didn't.
Mine are: 1. Watermelon/red trick worm on a shakey head 2. Wacky rigged watermelon senko 3. KVD swimjig (bluegill color) with rage craw or rage grub trailer 4. Watermelon fluke either weightless or with a split shot
