What's the best color of squarebill to use in stained water this time of the year? Also (hypothetically), if you were to catch a few small fish shallow with a particular color squarebill, would you use the same color out deeper to target a bigger bite? I hope the second part of this question makes sense. Thoughts?

Chart/black back, citrus shad...I usually try stick to shad colors for deep cranking

6th Sense Crush 50X I like to use this crankbait in the blue-treuse shad color. This bait also has a rattle in it that'll help the fish key in on the bait. I usually keep the colors the same no matter the depth.
