I just moved to the Odessa area and I am looking for someone who wants to fish its just no fun going by yourself. I have fished tournaments for 7yrs and have done extremely well and I am having heck getting to know the clubs around here so if you want to fish for fun or know of any tournaments that you need a boater for let me know I have a brand new Triton just itching to get on the water.

Best of luck to you. I live where your at. I hunt more then I fish, due to part I have no boat. I meant to go to the boat and RV show, didn't ever make it out there. I was actually pondering setting up a booth for my hunting business, but I was advised the booths were sold out. Amistad is a pretty awesome lake, my partner fishes there quite a bit, and that is his "home lake". he has won a few tourneys there and elsewhere. Be safe and God Bless.

Oh by the way Txman. If you ever have a chance to go after whities, try High Bridge. It is going towards Lake Amistad. I don't know if your into that type of fishing, but it is awesome. The Pecos river came up. I fished it about 4 years ago, and we had our limits in about a day and a half. Like I said I don't know if your into just Largemouth fishing, but this was alot of fun. Between now and the end of March they should be schooling. Lots of other fishing opputunities there also. Hope this helps. Roy

What do you mean Odessa has no lakes? Midland/Odessa is right in the middle of some of the country's great fishing lakes. Simply pick a direction, drive 300 miles, and you're on great water!!
