 how will the flooding effect the spawn?

Will all the flooding kill the eggs or fry? I would have to think all that fresh muddy water couldn't be good.

I don't know about the eggs but I would think that the muddy water and flooded cover would give the fry a better survival rate.

One would think with the cooler temps and higher water levels the spawns in most lakes will last longer.
Do something every day that makes you happy.
Fishing tops my list... Whooop - There it is! 😎

Same question was raised last year, and come summer we got our answer. It was a stellar spawn; we have another one coming!
