Has the fishing picked up yet, or are they still letting water out of the lake?

They are not releasing any water right now. Don't know if the fishing has picked up but you can call the marina and they will give you an honest report on how the fishing is. They also have a facebook page.

was there today, they are staging in the docks. they were being caught any where from 3-5 foot deep. Crappie were either good slabs or dinks. no in between. The bite was very soft you would just see your line swimming off. minnows were producing more than jigs. no limits but off and on moments of biting. One person left to gets eats I told him I would keep his place warm. nothing for 20 minutes. he comes back and places his minnows 8" away and both lines get bit. lots of people out there.
May the Good Lord bless you with a bend in your rod.
