No...it's not. You guys are really showing your age. "Facepalm" is a term that describes an action. It is used by us youngins when someone says or does something stupid. The guy was saying "Face, pal!" The term "face" in this scenario means "in your face!"

I can't believe I just got into definitions of slang terms, but I promise he did not mean to say facepalm. lol

Urban dictionary definitions of "Facepalm" and "Face":

Facepalm:

The act of dropping one's face / forehead into one's hand. Usually accompanied by a "thunk" or a cry of "D'oh!"
Usually written between asteriks in online conversation, to demonstrate an action.
Example: Today I locked my keys in my car. Again. *facepalm*

Face:

Interjection commonly used after a person has been insulted, disgraced, or humiliated. Derived from the phrase "in your face."

If Dan used correct grammar, we wouldn't be in this predicament. What he meant was, "Face, pal!" As in, "in your face, pal!" If he had added the comma, or called the guy a different nickname, it would have made more sense.

About 10yrs ago I had a 1654 express with a 25. Was getting ready at the local ramp for a Friday night tournament. I remember this one guy with a nice rig asked me "you fishing for fun?" I said nope, fishing to win. He laughed and and smarted something. At midnight at weigh in, I was around the crowd listening to whatever's winning. When he weighed his fish in he was leading with 23lbs. They asked if anyone else had anything, I spoke up and weighed my big fish. 8.3lbs. Then I weighed my 5 for 25 and some change.....that man left the crowd cussing and hollering. Not to bad for a 18yr old with his Coleman live well. I'll Never forget it!!!
