Sometimes the fish are slower to bite and take longer to investigate. This is especially true in clearer water. I like using a crawdad with a rattle weight and a lizard to cover more water. It allows me to work each lure slowly while still staying active the entire time. This can be tricky and requires constant attention, a few tricks and tips and some focus but the rewards are worth it.
