Got boat lanes? And are they marked with buoys. I'm a boat captain for the THSBA tournament on May 7th. Google Earth it and it looks taunting with all the timber.

No marked boat lanes. The lower end of the lake is pretty wide open, but start heading up the creek arms and its dangerous. No pattern to the timber really IMO. When in doubt idle, and if your gonna follow someone make sure they know what the heck they are doing.

As Buda said... its not that bad... there is timber southwest of the 287 bridge and around hickey island but in general the south end of the lake is clear. In general if you run the middle of the creek arms you will be ok... the timber thats in the center south of 287 will be way underwater at this point.

If you are heading north from the main body on the Chambers arm, the timber is to the west, so stay to the east. On the Richland arm the submerged timber is mostly to the south so stay toward the northern middle. There is a lot of visible timber that you should be cautious of. Like all lakes, there are occasional stumps throughout, even in 40+ feet of water that stop near the surface. Caution is always advisable.
