You guys need to hush about flukes. They don't work guys n gals. Don't use em. Keep ur brush hawgs and senkos. Bass don't like flukes. They have caught on. And to the guy using mono for flukes...my friend you must have one heck of a hook set.

I was throwing flukes with big game way before I ever heard of flourocarbon!

Dude tried all the new "state of the art" lines and just can't beat my old green stren line. Threw away floro after busting off fish on sets. Messed around with braid and flukes but mostly like it on jigs and trig. Did bust a real off the reel seat on a 10lb fish at falcon on a long cast to salt cedar at the back of a pocket with a fluke. That was a fun two man rodeo reeling that one in. Lol so may have a bit of a strong set. Lol

#1 for me would be a drop shot with a red bug or blue fleck finesse worm depending on water color but a very close second would be a C-rig with a chartruce pepper or trophy hunter baby rattlesnake on it.
