These are made from a coke can. They flutter as they sink; good for suspended fish and deep in the summer heat. Cheap and easy to make-p-

I remember those from the late 70's and made more than a few of them. 
I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)

if I remember correctly, I learned to tie these from an article that appeared in the now defunct warm water fly fisherman. That was a great magazine; I still have all the issues. It didn't last long but contained some great articles every month-p-

#2 from the top has the shank wrapped in small chenile; it holds a little better than the thread and creates a bigger body but it doesn't fish any differently than the thread wrapped ones-p-
