The Run is end. Fish is everywhere in the lake. I doubt it's over, maybe just on pause. We need rain to create current for them to start swimming again.

The Run is end. Fish is everywhere in the lake. I doubt it's over, maybe just on pause. We need rain to create current for them to start swimming again. this happened last year in one of the creeks we were fishing, it went dead for a week or so and then we got rain and it got even better

We need rain to create current for them to start swimming again. this happened last year in one of the creeks we were fishing, it went dead for a week or so and then we got rain and it got even better Current is terribly slow right now at 80 cfs, so fish deep holes and cast abundantly. They are probably staging for another push when conditions become right. More rain coming at the end of the weekend.

Did you check the tooth patch on those fish? Doesn't matter talking about hybrids to sandbass, as long as they are 18 inches. It could be 18 inch sandbass or hybrid and wouldn't matter. Now keeping hybrid and claiming them as sandbass would be different.

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
