Hey guys, gonna be out on Canyon Lake with my kayak for a couple days next week, was wondering if anyone was having any luck with the bass out there more towards the north side of the lake around the potters creek/ mystic shores area and such.
I grew up in Canyon Lake so I have an idea of what to look for and such but it's been about 4 years since I really fished it and was just asking for some tips cause this will be my last fishing adventure for awhile due to me leaving for Air Force basic training on April, 19th and I'd like to catch some fish.
Thanks,
Kevin

fished Canyon last weekend, weather was nice for weekend fishing; overcast, wind and rain.
Crankbaits (square bill and Norman Deep Little N) and Tx rig worked best for me.
Was amazed to see all the bass boats and a few center consoles (all fishermen) running past the no wake buoys in and out of Toms creek.
Lake looked great, hope to be back next weekend.
