I buy livebait when I take my wife out, that way she catches fish and doesn't lose my lures. The little store in Alba is now selling Black Salty's. Sounds like a great trip.

Great fish.
I used to take my daughter fishing on Ivie. I would buy the biggest minnows they had and make a dropshot rig for them and let them drag it behind the boat on the flats. They caught the fire out of fish and some big ones when nobody else was.
I'll admit I made myself a rig a couple of times when they were killing me.
Retirement best job ever.

I saw y'all going under 154 bridge last Thursday. I was in the Robalo CC. You should have told me that you had a good spot so I could've followed you there. All I could catch was a few unders flipping matted vegetation that day.
