Hello folks! Probably going to join my girlfriend & her family this weekend to Lake Conroe, & am curious to know if saltwater gear is too much for the fish there? Is a 20lb setup too much? Thanks!

You might buy some 3.0 or 4.0 hooks, some weights and some plastic worms.

I've noticed you can't always feel a crappie bite with heavy duty saltwater gear.
