Nice. Congrats on fun sounding trip. Saw that boat leaving Saturday and thought nice center console. I had to get off banks to catch 15 .........shallow bite seems tough

You're scared of black saltys, Neches? The look like a little black koi. You sure you're not referring to waterdogs? yea I thought that was a water dog. Those suckers are ugly. Don't guess I know what a black salty is LOL! I fished with the dogs a few times. It always made me sad when I was hooking them through their lips and their little hands were trying to keep me from it

Don't guess I know what a black salty is a silver/black goldfish that can be used in freshwater and put off distress scent when they feel threatened. I use to sell them in granbury and people would take them to fork.

True story here, about the last time I fished with water dogs... I had some college buddies in from out of town and they were hell bent of fishing with some of these nasty critters after a few rough days on Fork. I finally yeilded and we bought some and we wound up caughting a fish on almost every cast. It was a super long hot day out on the water, so I was glad to finally be home. My buddies beat me to my backyard bar while I was unloading the boat. When I finally got out there, they handed me an ice cold brew from my tapper. I'm pretty sure I even said thank you. After a few sips I noticed all these SOB's were snickering like little school girls... Then I looked down, and saw this. It's been over a year and I'm still not sure I've forgiven them. **for anyone concerned about cruelty... it was dead.** Didn't make me feel any better.

For a minute even I was confused as to about what that was! It's the twine on the bottom of the tiki uprights! Reefer free I promise.
