Sounds like someone needs an economic boost. That lake has a bunch of bigguns in it and its fishing fun right now. Lots of spots to catch and lots of big ones moving in.

I wouldn't worry about the lake getting much more pressure than what is getting now. Alot of people will not drive 4-5 hrs and pay 20$ a day to get on the lake to fish. And alan henry is a difficult lake to learn.

When you live in West Texas and only have a few lakes with water and lots of fisherman,you get used to the lakes getting beat up.Fact of life in these parts!

Is my home lake and the absolutely most frustrating lake to fish on. My buddy and I went Sunday and caught four dinks each. I must be doing something wrong. We threw shaky heads. Spinner baits. Shallow cranks. Wacky senko. Maddening.

A few nice fish caught this last weekend and congratulations to all who caught them.  Not sure I would call it a " big fish explosion" compared to the good old days.
