Largemouth in The Keys? Wrong section but the owner of TFF knows as much about that area as anyone here. PM J.P. Greeson. Seriously thumb

Research the " light tackle" boats in the Key West area.

Lived and fished in south Florida for 25 years before moving back to Texas a few years ago. My favorite fishing was in Flamingo, Everglades National Park, the end of civilization. Will always recommend Capt Jim Hale as he went beyond the call of duty one day as I was about to cut the leader on a 200 lb bull shark from my kayak. He had watched me fight the fish along with his clients and offered to have me board his boat in order to release the fish unharmed. It also allowed me a chance to get a couple of good pictures of a fish I would not have gotten otherwise. Had heard of Capt. Hale for years but never knew much about him until meeting him that day.

DOA Bigfish Lure... the first and last time I ever used the bait.

Biandaletti for back country. and The Tiki boat for deep sea out of Islamorada Caloosa Cove. The Tiki put us on so many tuna and mahi in September. Arms were blown out both days. Came back home with 50 lbs of Triple tail, mahi and black fin. Captain Roy is great. His family owns Laural Eyes on island as well. You can take your catch over there and they will cook it up perfectly for you.

If you want to go on a backwater slam: Reds, Trout, Snook, and Bonefish call Capt. Dave Denkert. One of the best in Islamorada. He guides tournament anglers and is probably the best poling platform guides you'll ever hire!!!
