I spooled up nanofil to see how I liked it. A week later I was re spooling all of my spinning gear with it. Best spinning line hands down.

10-15lb braid main line to a 6-10 lb floro leader tied with a uni to uni knot. Def. use braid for main line, anything else just causes headaches with line twists!

I guess I most be the only one, but I use 10lb p-line. I like the copolymer, no memory just the right amount of stretch and very durable. I have landed fish up to 9lbs with this line.

I only use a spinning rod for dropshotting, I prefer just plain old Berkley Trilene mono. 8lb. Test. I might have to try that Nanofil.

20 lb. P-line TCB (Teflon Coated Braid) and 12 lb. P-line CX Premium leader. Good for rocks, docks, etc. I like uni knots for joining the leader to the main line.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

30lb braid main line with 10-15lb flouro leader... I like the Alberto knot to splice braid to flouro... Very small knot that is very strong... If tied correctly, it will pass through micro guides with no problem

You're not alone here! I use the same and have no problems. I once was a believer in the braid to fluoro technique but after re-spooling a few times after the line started spinning on the reel without using the drag I got sick of it.

When I don't use braid I use 10lb P Line CXX. P Line CXX is damn good line, I've got a number of my friends to convert. I think you'll see more and more guys switching to it in the future. . .

You should have just spooled on the line correctly. You'd still be a believer if you did it correctly.

Yep, braid mainline (with mono backing) to fluoro or copoly leader. Makes everything easier and cheaper. Braid lasts a very long time, so you just change the leader when it gets to 4ft or so.

If I want line that sinks --fluoro leader
If I want neutral buoyancy --Pline CX or Yozuri hybrid leader
If I want line that floats -- McCoys Mean Green (more stretch) or Pline CXX leader (less stretch), or just go straight braid (no stretch).
