Neighborhood off 290 and mason have some good fish in it. You can also fish the lone star campus on the days the school is closed

Deputy Daren Goforth park ( West Rd & Barker Cypress) used to be on fire. However, due to a lot of people that don't care about the sport, it seems as if they quantity of bass aren't there anymore. I can catch some nice fish (5-6lb) there from time to time, but it's just not the same as it was. If you have kids, it's still a really nice place to hang out. Also try and join Houston Bass Slayers on FB. There are a lot of good guys on there, and they share info. Met a lot of people that way.
