Opinions on what it does to the fishing. High, low, strong change.

I have been reasearching this sublect for several weeks now, still as confused as before but more informed. Most of the older folks have been helping me to understand the effects of air pressure on fishing. One interesting perspective is- air pressure is measured at the surface of sea level. I did not know that the deeper you go the less pressure is felt. For example as the barometric pressure rises the fish will tend to go to the bottom and remain less active the still feed but don't chase or persue forage. As pressure falls fish will tend to suspend and hit baits with more aggression.
I guess it is relative so many other variables in fishing. But I do believe Air Pressure has alot to do with fish activity.
