 What type of grass is this?

Just wondering what type of grass this is, I've had it in my pond for about 4 years now doesn't seem to hurt the pond or the fishing. I was just seeing if yall knew what it was. It grows up real shallow to about 8 ft then stops. 
Why live in the city, where you have to call 911 for a problem, where I live i am 911- Phill Robertson.

Can't see pic but I'm assuming it's pondweed or "peppergrass" on Rayburn. Has leaves on it that top out and lay over?

My son and I were hangin in the garage and my wife come's out... She gives us the evil eye and says geez smells like a skunk out here.
She drives away and we laugh our azzes off!!!!!!!!!!!
It was hard to tie a good knot after that.
