Don't post much but just moved to Haslet. Posted this in the kayak section but there's obviously more attention here. I mostly kayak fish was with the wife at Ray Roberts state park about a week and half ago just checking it out and saw a guy having a parks and wild life warden weighing or measuring a gain fish he had caught. He was fishing out of a kayak. Was wondering if he posted a pic on here? I believe he declined to enter in the lunker program but it would've been eligible. I didn't have my phone as we were hiking but the thing was giant

A buddy of mine was out there all weekend on Easter weekend and said the fish he kept catching looked sick. He didn't know if they had LMBV or what but said it wasn't good.

He said they all looked real skinny and their tails were bleeding. Just means they are spawning and fanning nests. The spawn beats them up pretty bad
I can backlash toilet paper.

I thought all those fish in that lake we're already in post spawn. I'm going to call him right now and tell him to stop telling people that they have the LMBV and that they are just spawning instead.
