I called a "guide" out this morning on FaceBook about a 10-6 his "client" caught yesterday afternoon.
He posted the same story on this forum, and I intended to call him out here as well.
Obviously, he's had the post, and pictures on other threads deleted.
I watched the "client" catch the fish at around 11:15 yesterday morning, from about 50 yards away.
I talked to the man and congratulated him on the fish at 12:15 as I trolled past him heading in.
This "guide" was not in the boat with him.
The "guide" posted that he took the man out to set up his electronics yesterday afternoon, and since the fish were biting so good that morning , they decided to fish, and his "client" caught the 10-6.
Imagine my surprise when the picture he posted was of the man I saw catch the 10-6 earlier that morning.
The guide has messaged me asking me to overlook his "stretching of the truth", due to him being a "rookie" guide and how important it is to be able to claim DD bass.
There is no place for outright lies.
Even though O know that there is more BS from guides than truth, especially with this newer generation of Lake Fork guides, I can rarely call them out due to lack of facts, but in this case, I was right there.
BS doesn't sit well with me.

Guide is a combat vet and a good man! Give him a break, we all make mistakes! Yesterday was Easter, think about it!
