Looking to buy another rod for no good reason. This will be a general purpose rod for SB, worms, chatterbait, flukes. Can you recommend a 7' MH microguide rod for <$150? In this range I have mostly BPS Carbonlites, which are okay but the guides are flimsy.

For $150 I would buy a academy h20 nano and spend the extra $50 on tackle. Also, would help better for what you want to use rod for

Ducket micromagic. You won't be disappointed. +1 I have a plethora of rods but for the money, Duckett is a very good rod.

Yeah I got a Duckett MM 7'6" Heavy a month ago and paired it with a Lew's SS LFS and it's my favorite combo. I think I will do that again and get a MH.

Abu Garcia Veritas is one of the lightest and most sensitive rod I've used. Right at $100

W&M Insight Brent Chapman... the guides are a little weak but paired with my Lews and a spool of FC Sniper, it's pretty much one of the best combos I've used for wacky rigs, flukes, shakeys, scroungers, and finesse jigs. yeah, the rod is a wally world special, but in my hands it has been very much at home. If it breaks, I'll upgrade
