Saw it once and it seemed it was left in reverse but the water was holding it at first. A solo guy climbed back into boat started and backed off and here comes truck & trailor. We helped him but yes it was happening FAST

Seen this before while waiting on the ramp to get my boat out of the water. His brakes gave out on the truck and yes it does happen real fast. The other guy sat in the boat and cried a little while drinking a beer. Inform them that they had to notify the COE to get the truck and trailer out of the lake.
Jesus is Lord! John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

That is EXACTLY why I drive automatic transmissions!
Seen that on many occasions and helped the poor soul recover the vehicles on several occasions...the hardest part of lending a helping hand, is biting your lip when you are laughing your AZZ off!...the worst part is when they seem like nice folks in trouble, you offer to help...then you remember you won't be fishing much that day due to helping them, and then later you realize they didn't even offer you a few of those fish in that livewell FULL of fish.... Oh Well, helping is its own reward I suppose...thanks for posting and bringing back some really good memories!
