What do you think? These guys were a couple socks down headed the opposite direction when we dropped a buoy. See that buoy on the right? That's mine! After they saw us haul in 4 or 5 they hustled over and started fishing the pile.

I'd say so unless you invited them in. Had a boat come up to a pile about that distance from us yesterday and basically run it over then leave. We eased over when we were about to head out and caught fish off of it.

Set orange buoys 50-100 feet away from your pile then use back or green buoys to mark your actual fishing place. Or you could get a motorguide Xi5 and get rid of marker buoys all together.

If you paint your markers Black, some of that can be avoided.

Yep that's a little to close if not invited. I'd probably would have said something. There are always jerks on the water. They can't find there own fish. That's when you need a remote controlled boat and drive it around their boat. I've always wanted to do something like that!

That is very rude. I would have pulled in right next to them and anchored between them and the buoy

That is very rude. I would have pulled in right next to them and anchored between them and the buoy +1, except I would not anchor, just use the TM to stay between them and the buoy. you might also ask them if they would just like to fish in your livewell.

We eased over when we were about to head out and caught fish off of it. I would never get that close, but I would invite them over tell them the pile is theirs cause I am tired of caching dinks, pull up and leave...to within line of site and start fishing agiain...and hope they follow me...but then again that is why I mostly fish during the week....
