 Don't know if this has been shown before, but I like these types of photos. this is a reprint from a different sight. thought it was cool. lower photo is dated at 1939. I believe.

That would be great, I remember loading hay bales in the fields that were just south of what would soon become Joe Pool Lake Dam. My dad's old fishing buddy was saying "that this would soon be under 50 feet of water". I just thought he was crazy, turns out that older man knew what he was talking about. Now am an older man, and wish I had half the wisdom he and my dad had. Miss fishing with them both.

I've seen this pic a couple of times, everytime I start thinking about those trees and the RedBull cliff diving championship they host there...
I'm sure they're long gone, but it could make for a big OUCH!!!
