Don't be mistaken, there are plenty of fish still staging. Not a bad way to beat the crowds, just fish deeper.

The wind ain't gonna b fun starting tomorrow on it. Y'all b safe. Back off points and fish edge of grass. Or play follow the leader. Main lake points r best right now or 2ndary points in pockets with single brush on them been holding pretty key fish

After 2 brutal really windy days on TB,,,, a decent morning and finally some fish. A real nice 6-9 & 6-5 to go along with 10 in the 2-3 pound range. All from early sun up till 10:30am. Then it just shut off. Must have been the moon phase. Maybe they will bite again later, but I am real happy with 5 for 20#s.

Been sleeping, this wind is brutal on an old man. The group is catching fairly good numbers; 8-10 fish per person. 2-3-4 pound range. I couldn't handle the swells on the main lake so I just drifted a C-Rig down the middle of Hurricane and caught four 4.5 pounders The was a 7.5 caught by one of the group in Six Mile. North up in Patroon there were some numbers caught but nothing of size. Talked to one guy in Housen who said his wife caught a nice 6.5 on a white spinner bait. Most guys you talk to have had very few fish. Moon phase, water color, very cold mornings & brutal wind make a perfect storm for not very good fishing. There have been 2 11s weighed at F&F while we have been here, just not a whole lot of big fish. Wind is going to be worse Wednesday

Don't leave fish to find fish ......... very good advice, except when "scouting". I left the fish and clear"er" water to find a different spot to fish. went Palo Goucho and found some interesting landscape but some really dirty water, like rust coming out of the pipe dirty, like kids in a bathtub after playing in a mud hole dirty water. All I could pick up were a few small fish so I packed it up and came home. Hope the rest of the crew does better. Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.

Going to be there this coming weekend. The falling water is probably not helping either. Just checked the lake level and it has dropped almost a foot in 4 days and that never helps is the spring time
John K Fontenot Diapers and Politicians need to be changed often; and for the same reason.

Yes,,,,, you can see by the high water lines and the trash on the banks that it is dropping. Find some clear water and the fish will bite. I caught fish at all depths. there are still some off shore deep fish and there are plenty of shallow fish inside the hay grass. Just got to root them out. T-Rig, flippin, weightless flukes, c-rig deep or in 6-8ft, chatterbait was my best producer.

Staying at Fin and Feather. It is tough. Found lots of fish shallow behind the hay grass. I'm hearing some being caught on carolina rig, but have minimal experience with that rig. May give it a shot today.

Stayed @ Fin & Feather in the Delta. Rest of the group still there. hope you are avoiding the weather that rolled in last night. The cleanest water we found was right there in Housen & Six Mile. I got a couple of pictures but I don't know how to post them. No secrets on the fishing: Haygrass --- main lake & secondary points ---- + I fished a c-rig right down the middle of Hurricane, drifting with the wind and caught several real nice fish using a WM/Red Brush Hog
