I moved to Austin and I'd lIke some ideas on where I can bank fish the spawn this year. Parks, creeks etc, not looking for anything special just some fun spots that should have a decent spawn. I don't know the area at all.

Here (30.696811, -97.395561). Park on left after entering willis creek park and walk to creek. Live minnows under a float. Was out there Monday and saw a full stringer of whites from a guy on the bank. I caught 5 whites and 3 crappie from the boat.

austin bass fishing.com is a great source of information for the area. Be prepared...you might need a flack jacket at times.
