Hey guys. Idk if this is the place to ask, but I need help getting the answer to this question. I'm on campus at the college and I saw 2 turtles stuck in the water. There is absolutely no way for them to get out because the walls around the water are 6' higher than the water level. Should I contact someone to get them out? Or can they survive on their own? If they're anything like humans, they will eventually get tired of swimming and drown. Right?

you could buy a cast net and nab them... should be easy pickins
I dont suspect they will drown... they can hold their breath for a long time and just chill on the bottom and come up once every so often... though if the water dries up completely, or if there isnt any food in there with them they could die.

Stick a 2x4 in so they can climb out. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

An old trick from an old Biology dude with some field trip experience collecting all sorts of animals.
To catch water turtles (those that bask in the sun, you can use almost anything that floats with a hole in its middle, netting attached to the perimeter of the hole opening dangling down into the water, and a rope attached to it. Turtles will climb up on the structure to sun, then when you spook them they will slide off into the water. About half will slide off to the outside of the perimeter and netting and escape, but the other half will slide off inward into the hole with the loose net.
Drag them to shore.
A good way to get a pet for a grand kid.
