Up for sale I have a black Harris Solitude 4 left hand retrieve fly reel. The Harris Solitude has a cult like following among diehard steelheaders. I bought it new in 2004 and mounted it to an 8wt that saw very little use. A few years ago I purchased a different reel for the rod and the Solitude has been sitting in the closet ever since. This reel is in near mint condition. The only 2 issues are that I lost the reel cover and replaced it with a Ross cover off an old Ross Canyon Big Game that I sold to a buddy and the screw that operates the clicker fell off while fishing. I never replaced it because it did not make a difference in operation of the reel. If you do a small amount of Googling, it is easy to see how bulletproof these reels are. These reels don't come up for sale very often, but I have too many reels in the closet right now. This is a standard mid arbor reel with an oversized wooden handle. Harris was bought out by a company called Edco and the Solitude reel is still being made, a size 4 retails for around $375, asking $175. PM me with any further questions and pictures.

Someone make a reasonable offer. I am not a collector or a hoarder. I would like to move this little guy on to someone that will use it. Thanks.
