Wanted to buy the 332c, but I believe this replaced it.
Can't find the 332c's on clearance anymore. Spec wise, they appear similiar. Have gotten great reviews on the 332c, but the 520c is new for 2007 and I'm gun shy on buying the first release of a new model. What do y'all think?

I did get a 332c on clearance and the only difference I could see in the two were the 520 has more detailed built in maps and the screen technology is new. The screen on the 332 is just fine.

I have the 522ic and I have had no problems with it. I just got the 2006 hot maps elite card for this unit but have no idea how to use it. If there is anybody out there that could help me with this I would appreiciate it.

I have the 332c also.. I wouldn't be afraid to buy a 520.. Lowrance always stands behind there products.. The only differance I can see is the screen technolgy and the 520 is radar ready..

Just installed the 520C this weekend. WOW! The old bridge @ 190 on Livingston is on the map. Now gotta wait for the lake to settle to verify. I chose the 520C rather than the 520C IGPS due to the possibility of the bimini interfering with GPS reception in summer. Had to make a few adjustments initially, but am very satisfied so far. Still reading the manual LOL.
