went to aquilla yesterday. went to several spots no luck. around 4:30 got under the bridge Bamm ! 4 real good keepers 12 t0 15 in. then rain hit and i took off.Damm shoulda went to bridge first. all full of eggs.

oh,they were in 17ft.bite at 14 ft.

Which bridge? And what were you using? Minnows? Jigs, what color?

Not sure where he is talking about but there is a bridge that crosses one arm of Aquilla. I have crossed over one when exploring hunting land there. Northern part of the lake.

Not sure where he is talking about but there is a bridge that crosses one arm of Aquilla. I have crossed over one when exploring hunting land there. Northern part of the lake. There are two arms and two bridges 1534 & 1947

He is talking about the 1947 bridge because it only has 17ft water at one place, where the creek channel runs under it..the 1534 bridge is not that deep even with the high water...I would not doubt pappy, but a few keepers in a day of fishing is not good on Aquilla...most folks been getting their hats handed to them lately.

Caught a few in the creek Sunday morning but the numbers weren't great. High water's put them off for now. Did the creek and one other place today and only had a couple if nibbles on my flies. Tried jigs as well and nada. 
I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)
