Finally my fiancée and I have a day off and away from wedding planning and want to hit a lake. Been pretty busy with work but I've been following the spawn this year and it seems like it's a good time to go fishing! This Monday we were thinking about going to Ray Roberts for some sights and fishing! Where would y'all go to run into any species of fish and maybe bank for a little and explore around. We've never been to Ray Roberts so thought we might give it a try. Any help is appreciated.

Both the state parks are nice. Isle Du Bois for scenic and Johnson Branch for more secluded area. My family like JB better but both are nice parks with bank fishing and stocked kids pond for fishing. Isle Du Bois also has a fishing pier.

Justin what a small world. Yeah I loved it. Still trying to get hired on but I'm working at Acadian about to go through paramedic school.
