thanks. I was hoping to take them out in the boat. The spillway can get crowded sometimes.

Talked to 3 of the best guides on the lake yesterday afternoon. These guys all put some beautiful stripers, and hybrids in the boat. They report main lake water temperature is approximately 59 degrees, and the fishing is good. Look for the fishing to become GREAT when water temps hit 69 degrees. They report success using chartreuse sassy shad type baits with 1/2 to 3/4 ounce jig heads, fished main lake in 4-10 feet of water. Look for brush, rocks, points, etc. You can also expect success using cut bait and shad in 25 feet of water, morning and afternoons. Lastly, if you like drifting live bait, look for main lake flats in 45 feet of water, and if all else fails, keep an eye out for birds working shallow schools of shad. Good luck!
