Not yet. I caught fish in 15 to 20 main lake then went up 3 different creeks. Wasn't happening. I'm exhausted but will be on another lake tomorrow.

Do fish mostly north or south of I-30. The reason I ask is because I seldom see any crappie fisherman on Hubbard. Reggie

Slow day today. Ended the day with 6 decent fish, all caught main lake 17 - 24 ft. Water temp at the dam was 56, went up north of 66, found 62 degree water but not much happening up that way for me today.
Tommy, saw you go by.... I thought about following you to the fish.. lol.....

I caught 12 is 2 ft of water in an hour last night. Not gonna say where because I have it all to myself right now, but they are up Shallow. One female out of the group and she was dropping her eggs as I was pulling her out of the water.

If I knew how to get pics posted off my phone I would. I will give this tip, look for rocks with Reeds growing. Every spot I have hit like that has been on. And it just started over the weekend. Before then, I was catching nothing.

Thanks crappie fan that is the kind of info I need , I hear they are going shallow but is there a particular type of area to look for . I was told I should look for hard or sandy bottom , can anyone tell me if that's true or any other hints please .

Crappie prefer to spawn on hard bottoms like rock or gravel

From Wading around, Reeds usually indicate that there is a harder bottom. The area in front of the reeds may be muck but if you walk around the reeds, they typically grow on a harder bottom. This may not always hold true, but from my experience it does.
