Just to give a heads up to people, the Trinity is producing sand bass and hybrids when the release is lower. Sunday ended with 13 fish the smallest caught was 11 1/2 inches in 3 hours. Mcinnish Park Coppell. Best day yet! Pictures don't seem to be uploading from phone

1/8 oz rooster tail but they would have hit just about anything. Even the biggest one I caught, a 16 1/2 inch sandie, chased it down from a distance.

Ok cool i gonna be there after work I wouldn't go right now. Sunday Grapevine and Lewisville spillways were almost closed and sow the flow was only from runoff. Now they are both releasing total 4000-5000 cfs which means a rushing river. I'd wait until it is lower again. Eric

Ummm, Lake Lavon does not dump into this area. Lavon flows into the East Fork. The Elm Fork is crazy full. I work right here by it and they keep sending out warnings of possible flooding around us from the amount of water being released.
