Pretty bold assessment of a rig you've never laid eyes on.

I briefly owned a PC back in the early 90's and I have had several buddy's who have owned them as well, some still own them. This is what I would look for:

1) All used performance boats should be checked out by an authorized marine mechanic at best or a thorough lake test at the very least, if the owner refuses either then walk away. 2) That said, eliminate the obvious by checking for any stress cracks in the hull and transom, and look closely at the cap attachment for any signs of separation or warping, if you see any of these then walk. 3) Check the entire trailer including the tongue (especially if its a break-a-way) for any signs of abnormal wear, twist or structural failures. PC had some issues with under trailering some of their models that caused problems but probably not with the model you describe tho, but check the trailer never the less, including lights. 4) Check all lights, pumps, tilt, switches and gauges to make sure everything works, small things shouldn't be a game changer but it will give you an idea of what might need to be taken care of post sale.

PC made some pretty good rides but like everyone else they had their issues to, my brother had a 210 SP DC for a couple of years back in 2003 and it was a great platform that had a pretty good ride, a little wet but it handled well.
