Old partner got 5th with 4fish they lost over over 6 at the boat would of had a 24-25lb sack

Just curious, but if they pay 1 spot per 5 entries, with 35 teams, why did they only pay 6 spots?

Just curious, but if they pay 1 spot per 5 entries, with 35 teams, why did they only pay 6 spots? Looks like there was 34 paid entries + the AOY from last year. They likely base the payout on paid entries only.
