I built a small deck to mount the trolling motor on last year. But I just didn't like the small area to stand and fish. Well, I just got back from buying some 1" aluminum to frame up a larger area to stand. In the next couple weeks I'll be building on it after I get off work.  ]deck[/url]

I drilled out the live well cover so I can raise it up to the new level  I did add a couple more braces for additional support.

Ok so I decided to do the carpet thing a little different this time. instead of using carpet I am going to paint on something called Textured Deck Over.It says it will have a textured slip-resistant finish, but is also barefoot friendly.  But here's the thing. I was just reading the back of the label and it says " Do not use if rain is expected within 24 hours".  "Or if humidity is expected to be greater then 80%"  So today I'm off work wishing the forecast isn't for rain for the next 2-3 days.
